Las Vegas, Nevada

This trip went really smoothly even given all the circumstances leading up to it. I stayed at the Trump Hotel, which was changed from the Virgin Hotel which was also changed from the Hilton Grand Vacations Hotels. This was from the Hilton Timeshare, which if you know is how you can get very cheap stays but will have to attend a presentation where they will pitch you to “buy” a hotel resort room (SAY NO). Using Frontier was quick and easy (before my cancelled flight in Phoenix debacle) and I arrived pretty late at night. The main thing was WWE Wrestlemania as I went to both nights with Saturday being bad and Sunday very good. I forgot how far the strip was (3 miles) to walk across and did give me flashbacks the last time I was here 4 years ago. I rented a car for day, which was cheap and checked out Nellis AFB. It had a big gym and that’s bout it and took a risk of finding somewhere to park free for the wrestling event. Also, parking in Vegas is usually free at most places. I didn’t play any slots or gamble or anything as that’s just not my style but it wasn’t that chaotic as I remembered. I checked out a bunch of the top tier hotels and tried out a bunch of food, which were all good. It was a good break from work and now I am ready to start my Honor Guard journey!
