Denver, Colorado
I mainly went here for a Air Force event to see the top leaders of the AF speak. It was at the Gaylord Rockies Resort, which was very big and pretty like the one in National Harbor Maryland that I went to a couple of months back. I stayed at all Hilton hotels for the weeks: Inverness (4), Spark (3), and Art (4). The Art provided the most food credits with $340 total but I didn’t realize tip wasn’t a part of it. The houses were more expensive than I thought and I think I still prefer Utah. My mom visited me during the middle of the trip, and getting a car rental was fun. We did check out houses, and the prices were more expensive than I thought and it was pretty annoying now that I keep getting messages from Zillow. I also didn’t know using the buses/trains were free for military until later on. I went to see the Denver Nuggets vs the Boston Celtics, which was a good game. I checked out Buckley Space Force Base, the Art Museum, and the Botanic Gardens. The Red Rock mountains were one of my favorites as it was just a nice scenery and was it’s own area in the west side of Colorado. There were a bunch of malls as well. Overall, I might come here again as flying is really cheap as being next to Utah and for the Space Symposium next year.
