Sacramento, California

The first trip was in 2026 and it was a quick but packed one. After checking in to work on Friday, I quickly went to the airport and flew with 30 minutes waiting to spare. All I do is show up to work for them to put my name and technically I can do whatever I want till the next. When I got to Sac I went to check in at the IHG hotel. I used the rest of my points I got from this book 2 get one free type of deal. It had no breakfast but it was in the middle of Sac so it was easy for me to go back and forth. I went to Old Sac and checked out the number one attraction which was the California Railroad Museum. For $12, it was worth it and it reminded me why Sac is important with its whole transport across the country. Afterwards, I ate at the Chase OpenTable restaurant. Compared to regular prices, it really wasn’t that on sale for Happy Hour but I got what I wanted. The capitol museum was closed sadly but walking around downtown was fun with seeing the arena and safe center for Sac Anime. I was kinda nervous going to these as I am lowkey a secret anime fan but I explored the convention and got like $100 worth of stuff. The next day I exercised and ate at a Resy restaurant and then rented a car through Hertz. Driving from Sac to SJ wasn’t that bad as I stopped at Stockton for Boba and then Pleasanton for Tiffany, giving 1 hour increment breaks to get to SJ (3 hrs). I’m glad I was able to help Tiffany go through her crisis and although I didn’t get to check out the 49ers or Warriors game, I wouldn’t have sacrificed that for a friend. I ate with my mom at a Vietnamese restaurant and passed out after. On Sunday I returned the rental and everything went smoothly so I guess I’ll keep renting cars when needed and cheap till I get into an accident lol. I ate at an expensive Resy restaurant with the trio and Komo. We basically voiced everything there and even if we all have lives that can’t fully be understood, we do our best and are there for each other. Now I’m heading back to Utah and getting ready to embrace 2026 when starting military work again. I still have a lot I still need to figure out still, but I’ll keep fighting and be the best person that I can be!
