New York City, New York

This was one of the most random and risky trips I took but it was well worth it. This was during Veterans day where I learned I would get a 3-day break. It was pretty tricky finding a cheap place to stay so I had to go an IHG hotel in New Jersey and then stay at a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the middle of New York City. It was fairly easy to travel through the metro but when you are outside it can get pretty confusing. I watched the New York Knicks vs the Brooklyn Nets, which I liked the Madison Square Garden venure but the game was a blowout. I visited the iconic places: the Status of Liberty, Times Square, and the 9/11 museum.
